MADE TO ORDER & SIZING
All of our pieces are made to order therefore please allow 1-3 weeks for shipments. We do have a selection of in stock pieces in our IN STOCK & READY TO SHIP section that can be shipped in 1-2 days of purchase. Please feel free to inquire. We also offer custom pieces such as custom wedding bands, engagement rings or special engraving. We make all designs in Sterling Silver, Brass, Bronze, Platinum or Gold in a matte or high polish finish. Please have accurate sizing upon ordering. We recommend visiting a local jeweler to be sized professionally or using a RING SIZER. For resizing inquiries or sizing assistance please contact us. We offer resizing at a fee starting at $50.
SHIPPING
We ship all items using USPS Standard Shipping, USPS Priority, USPS Priority Express, UPS Ground Shipping and UPS Air options . If you would like a different shipping method or require shipping insurance please contact us. All pieces are made to order and therefore we are unable to give exact shipping dates, please allow 1- 3 weeks for shipments. IN STOCK & READY TO SHIP items will ship within 1-3 business days of purchase. You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number when your items have shipped. If the item is a gift or special shipping needs are required, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to make it happen. For international shipping, the customer is responsible for any additional tax or duties required. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages during shipment but will do out best to assist you.
EXCHANGES
We are happy to offer exchanges or an online store credit for future purchases. We do not offer refunds. If you wish to exchange your item please contact us within 7 days at HELLO@CHARLOTTECAUWE.COM and we will issue a return shipping label. Exchanges must be received within 14 days of receipt with a copy of your invoice and in original, unworn and undamaged condition. We have the right to deny an exchange if the piece is not in original condition. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. A return shipping fee in the amount of $12 will be deducted from the online credit. All sales are final on fine, engraved, custom, international orders and sale items. All sale items are final, all sales items cannot be exchanged or returned, and we are unable to offer price adjustments on prior purchases. We are unable to accommodate sizing exchanges for international orders or specialty sizing. We offer resizing at a fee starting at $50 per ring. We are not responsible for normal wear and tear of the jewelry or fading of the plating due to wear. KEEPING THE GOODS CLEAN
We recommend taking off Brass, Vermeil or Gold Plated pieces before washing your hands, taking a dip, applying perfumes or lotions, and before going to sleep. Gold plated is gold layers over Brass and Gold Vermeil is layers of gold over Sterling Silver. Using harsh chemicals, lotions, perfumes, hairsprays or bathing/swimming in your Gold Plated or Vermeil pieces will remove the plating. For Gold Plated or Vermeil pieces, wipe with a soft untreated cloth. It is normal for natural tarnishing/oxidation to occur on Brass and Sterling Silver metals. Regular polishing with a treated polishing cloth is recommended for Brass and Sterling Silver pieces. For serious tarnishing, use a jewelry cleaner or wash with a mild dish soap, dry and then polish with a treated cloth. Brass may tarnish for some and may not for others, it all depends on one’s skin. A green mark may appear on the skin but is harmless and can be washed off. A small amount of lacquer can be applied to the inside of the band to help prevent markings. We recommend Sterling Silver, Gold or Vermeil pieces if your do not want to deal with possible tarnishing. Over time, wear and tear will dull the shine of the piece. We think that’s part of the beauty of it. If you would like us to professionally re-polish your pieces or re-plate your Vermeil or gold plated pieces please contact us. We are not responsible for normal wear and tear of the jewelry or fading of the plating due to wear.
